Legal Advisor

Reporting to the Managing Director, the basic function of the jobholder will be to provide professional advice to the group management concerning business transactions of the group companies.

His responsibilities will broadly include:

Studying constitution, statutes, decisions and ordinances of judicial bodies.
Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations for the group.
Examining legal data and representing the group in litigation and other legal proceedings and negotiations.
Preparing business contracts, settling labor disputes and administering other legal matters.
Reviewing all legal agreements, identifying risk areas, guiding and advising the management.

To qualify for the above position you must be a qualified lawyer with approx. 12 years of relevant experience of which at least 5 years should have been as a senior lawyer of a reputed group within the UAE. Thorough knowledge of UAE laws, legal procedures and formalities and exposure to Regulatory management & Corporate governance are essential.

Based in Abu Dhabi this position is open to Arabic speaking candidates only.
